The older we get, the faster time seems to pass us by. I cannot BELIEVE it’s already been an entire year since the 2011 City Club at River Ranch Bridal Show. WOW. I’ve learned a lot this past year and again this year I am so grateful for all the brides that stop by our booth and the vendors that we have the privilege of knowing.

The show was packed and I was SO excited and thankful to have Amelia with me at the booth this year. Last year I promised myself I would improve in a lot of areas (including wearing comfortable shoes)…and this year with the help of Amelia we accomplished our goals. But OF COURSE…there’s a new list for improvements. Next year, these are few things that I’d like to do:

  • LOOK WITHIN INSTEAD OF AROUND: Amelia had to remind me this year that I was too consumed by what was around me rather than what was within. (Seriously what would I do without her). 🙂 I find myself comparing my abilities to those around me rather than focusing on the business.
  • HAVE CONFIDENCE: The thought above goes hand and hand with this one. Although I hold my head high and move forward, I consistently struggled with confidence. I always feel like there’s someone better, faster, smarter, more creative than I am. So, I am really going to try in the future to work on this.
  • PLAN A BETTER WALK-THROUGH: Let’s be honest…bridal shows are packed with people! And with so much eye-candy and tasty samples, it’s no wonder that everyone is moving so quickly. Next year, I’d like to have a better walk through for the brides who stop at our booth. We’ll probably ditch the coffee table and empty the space in the middle for starters! There were too many people in too tiny of a space. So, next year, no worries…we’ll all be outside of each other’s bubbles.
  • Have FUN: I feel fortunate to have the career that I do. I have the opportunity to share in potentially the most exciting day in a couples life! So, even when I’m working outside of the wedding day, I want to do my best to always remember to have fun and focus on the end goal: photographing the wedding! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you SO SO much to each and every bride, groom, friend, & mother who stopped by our booth! I hope you enjoyed the show.

The products….

It KIND of looks like I’m at a flea market in this photo. “Step Right Up….” lol

There were SO many people at the show!

Thanks so much to Hannah Trahan for a wonderful show! Because of her hard work and the hard work of the City Club staff, we were able to participate in a fabulous event!

I’m looking forward to next year’s show…and to a wonderful year in 2012.
