Kristen has a love for activity, fun..and a fear of missing out (#fomo)! So after a little over five years of dating her love Steve, he didn’t have to twist her arm the night he asked if she’d like to “go out with friends!”
On the way, they stopped at his dad’s house. Steve hid the ring there in advance and had intentions of proposing in the courtyard!
But just as they were preparing to walk out the door, Steve quickly guided her into the courtyard without explanation. Little did she know he was planning to start the rest of their lives together in that moment. He knelt down on one knee in the courtyard of his dad’s home and there, he asked her to be his wife! <3
In addition to celebrating with family, Kristen and Steve loved sharing the proposal with so many of their friends in person that weekend!
For their engagement session, we spent the afternoon photographing at Kristen’s dad’s house in Lafayette. It was a lovely day, and I really enjoyed getting to know these two. They’re both SO chill and I could tell instantly how they just enjoy having fun together! They laugh … A LOT…and take things in stride.
