Although I only knew their first names when I showed up, by the end of the night, I felt differently. The emotion, the prayer, and the worship at this wedding was unprecedented for me and left me feeling like I knew them on an entirely different level. When Evin saw her, he told me more than I could have known if he’d have described in words his love for Sarah.

The details were impeccable and being the detail-oriented person that I am, I really enjoyed being able to photograph every unique aspect of their wedding, every pain-staking thought and decision, every extension of who they are as a couple.

Every detail from her shoes to the tiny religious broaches pinned on their bouquets told the story of Sarah and Evin. There were so many moments and gestures. A groomsmen’s hand resting on Evin’s grandmother’s arm in the most gentle way, Sarah’s expression as she lays her head on his shoulder, Evin’s tears as they roll down his cheek.

I am so thankful for being able to 2nd shoot this wedding with Erin Falgout. As I said in yesterday’s post on 2nd shooting this wedding, it really gave me the chance to have complete creative freedom.

So about the details…..WOW! Look at her shoes. Aren’t they just gorgeous? I love that the colors are subtle and SO elegant!

The girls preparation spot was the Carriage House in River Ranch, a wonderful location for preparation if you are looking for one.

The entire wedding took place in River Ranch, from their preparation, all the way to the reception at City Club. Hannah Trahan, event coordinator of City Club is a great contact if you’re interested: htrahan@cityclubatriverranch.com

This is definitely one of the most beautiful bridal bouquet’s I’ve ever seen. I love the way the pink adds that touch of color the bouqet needs, but relies mainly on the textures.

One of my favorite details were the bridesmaid’s headpieces. What a find!

I love the way Sarah’s mom is looking at her here; it was quite an emotional day for everyone and it was nice that her mom had this moment with Sarah before her wedding.

Okay, so the image on the bottom right is one of my favorites simply because I love the story. The plan for the wedding was to place money on the ground. And if the children stood on it quietly and still during the ceremony, they could trade in the money for their favorite new toy!!!! I love it.

What I love about a wedding day, is the 1,985,432 things that happen when no one is looking.

Like this adorable moment above….or all the ones below.

From the moment Sarah walked out, everyone was breathless. I (of course) had tears flowing down my cheeks. Which, frankly, is quite typical. But the combination of the powerful and emotional music and the intensity of the moment had me focusing through my teary eyes.

It was quite the wedding; their love for God and their love for one another just blew me away. They wrote their own vows which was really touching and as they prayed together…again, another breathless moment.

The reception was held at City Club in River Ranch. So, immediately following the outdoor wedding, everyone walked next door and into a room filled with so many beautiful details.

If I had to describe the decor in one word, it would be “whimsical.” Everything from her headpiece + shoes, to the bird cages on the tables spoke of a magical and whimsical wedding.

The lobby of City Club was filled with warm and Fall-like decor which also complimented the wedding nicely, giving it a sense of time and place.

As I turned from adoring Sarah and Evin’s first dance, I noticed the flower girl and groomsmen looking on from the side of the dance floor.

It’s obvious how much this little girl loves him. πŸ™‚ This is one of my favorites from the night.

There was a ton of dancing; definitely one wedding without a dull moment!!

Evin’s face: priceless.

Now, I have NEVER seen a single man jump SO high for the garter!!!

I wish Sarah and Evin many years of happiness together, continuing to love God and grow together as a couple. I am so happy to have been able to witness this love and assist in capturing the day.

This picture was taken of Erin and I at their new “Unbooth.” πŸ˜‰ A huge thanks to Erin for allowing me to join you and Adam for the night!!! πŸ™‚
