Was this the dress you initially thought you’d wear for your wedding?
I was open to different styles when I first started trying on dresses. I tried on anything and everything! Sonya at Lemon Drop was amazing and helped me to realize what I liked and didn’t like, and she helped me to find the perfect dress!
Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
The lace is beautiful on this dress, and the delicate beading adds to the detail. It has a lovely train but is still not too heavy. Being able to dance in my dress was a must! This was my favorite dress out of the several I tried on. I knew it was the one when I put it on, especially after my mom and sisters saw it and loved it.
How do you feel when you put on your dress?
Excited! I’m so ready for my wedding day! I never want to take it off when I try it on.
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
It provided the comfort of a private residence. There are so many beautiful photo opportunities on his property. His landscaping is gorgeous. And the large oak trees are stunning and also a special “symbol” of our engagement.
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Enjoy the journey and live in the moment! It really does fly by!
