Was this the dress you originally thought you’d wear for your wedding?
No, I knew I wanted some lace on the dress. I originally thought I was going to get an organza ball gown with scalloped lace details. As soon as I put it on I immediately said “Can I take it off?”
Tell us about your dress! Why did you choose this look?
I loved the lace! I also love gold and the satin under the lace is light gold! I knew I really liked the look of it on the hanger, but when I put it on I could not get over how flattering it was.
How do you feel when you put on your dress?!
I always thought it was cliché for people to say I cried when I found my dress, but I was definitely guilty of doing it! I immediately said “I can’t believe I’m crying.” I kept saying “I don’t want to take it off!”
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
I loved the scenery. I also loved the trees as you drive up!
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Accept help when it’s offered! Don’t try and do it by yourself! Don’t lose sight of what is most important, marriage. It’s fun/stressful/crazy planning a wedding and at the end of the day you are married, which means it was PERFECT!
Aimee, you’re a doll!!!! Seriously. I’m so happy I’ve had the chance to get to know you on this journey and Justin surely is one lucky man. You bring joy with you wherever you go and an uplifting energy as well. Congratulations to you both and I cannot wait to share your wedding in the upcoming weeks!
