Three and a half years ago, they were already bound by mutual friends. And thanks to modern day technology meeting became easy. It began with a text from one of those mutual friends: I know someone who thinks you’re cute. (This someone, of course, meaning Eric).
Then….a myspace message: You look like a pretty cool person; I think we should hang out sometime.
A few weeks later Eric and Haylie crossed paths at Walk-ons. They were both there, hanging out with friends and watching the LSU game. And as LSU’s runningback crossed the line scoring yet another touchdown for LSU, Eric seized this moment of cheering and high-fiving to grab Haylie and kiss her. And in that moment they moved their relationship from social networks to reality.
Eric and Haylie have spent the past three and a half years enjoying life together: fishing, hunting, and now enjoying their first home together. Eric is definitely a country boy who loves Haylie by his side. We spent the afternoon in Henderson enjoying the first taste of summer. I used to spend many Sunday afternoons zydeco dancing on the river; and during their engagement session I was able to appreciate the beautiful cajun country of Henderson, LA in a whole new way. π
Eric + Haylie,
I love being around the two of you; your interaction between each other is absolutely adorable and Haylie, I could learn from your laid-back ways!!! π What a wonderful idea for your location and I appreciate all the effort that you put into making your shoot perfect: your outfits, your accessories, and your ability to be YOU! I hope you have a wonderful and safe Easter. π π π
