New Orleans Weddings: Amanda + Aaron

They are a couple that clearly show, without hesitation, their deep love for one another.

Amanda + Aaron, during our very first meeting, made it clear that that were in love. 🙂 They never had to say it….it just showed. Their outgoing personalities and ability to “just be” allowed me in very quickly so that there was never a dull moment. When I observed them during their engagements, it was as if they were together in their own world! 🙂 🙂 🙂

They’re always holding hands and it was so easy to capture them together because they hardly left each others side! It makes me so happy to see a couple so happy and in love.

The wedding was beautiful; and very intimate. Both Aaron + Amanda are family oriented, so their wedding day really reflected their love for being together with everyone. During their reception, I could see that they made it a point to talk to all of the guests and I thought that was incredibly special.

Next, Amanda’s dad came in to see her. AH! This makes me want to cry just looking at them.

The colors Amanda chose really POP. It’s classic with a modern twist.

The ceremony was so beautiful. Both Aaron’s dad and Amanda’s brother-in-law led the ceremony which made it btoh intimate and special for them.

She is ALWAYS laughing when she’s with Aaron. 🙂

After the wedding ended, Amanda and Aaron spent a second just talking with each other and enjoying their first few seconds as husband and wife.

….They also allowed me to spend time with them following the ceremony photographing them; Brad and I brought them into the church entrance area where there was the most beautiful balcony area.

All we asked, was that they just be…..

I believe this is one of my favorite images from the day.

Although I love this one as well especially because it shows how much she laughs when they’re together.

Amanda + Aaron had a complete candy bar at the reception including delicious treats like this one. MMMMmmmmmm…..

The venue was filled with beautiful details like these that Brad and I both loved so much.

How CUTE are they?! LOVE. This was taken during their first dance.

Following their dance, the maid of honor and the best man gave their congratulations!

Emily’s speech to Amanda + Aaron was so thoughtful. They’ve been friends forever and even though their friendship spans long distance now, it’s still as strong as ever.

Where he told Amanda how lucky she was to be marrying a man that he looks up to so much.

For the first time, I saw this tradition of passing around the shoe! Rather than doing a money dance, the couple passed a shoe. So cool.

I have been waiting and waiting for a couple to smash the cakes against their new spouse’ face. Leave it to Amanda to finally do it!!!!!!!!

Isn’t this adorable? Amanda’s little sister and her boyfriend caught the bouquet and the garter. 🙂

I was so thankful to have Brad along for the day to help and to shoot.

I was also especially thankful for such a fun couple.
