Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
St. Joseph Catholic Church is the church we attended as children. We had our first communions and confirmations here…and when we started dating, we attended the church together. It was only fitting that we receive our sacrament of marriage there, too!
What was your favorite wedding purchase?
My Swarovski Crystal necklace
What was your best wedding day memory?
The kiss! It was everything I could ever imagine. And to hear the love roaring from our family and friends, that is what I remember the most.
Did you create any details yourself? How did you incorporate your personalities into the wedding?
For the sign-in table, Shanon sanded one of his guitars down for the guest to sign, and I bought and sanded and old window to display our engagement pictures. We also incorporated loved ones who we have lost into our wedding with an old window that we remained and added the quote “You would be here today if Heaven wasn’t so far away.”
