Was this the dress you initially thought you’d wear for your wedding?
In a way, yes. I knew I wanted a lace wedding dress, but I went in with a pretty open mind!
Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
I chose this specific look and dress for the lace. Every girl dreams about a white dress, but I wanted my “white” to stand out. I told Cat at Lovely Bride what I imagined and she got it done! I ended up changing the underlay so that my lace would stand out, which was nerve wrecking not knowing exactly how it was going to look! In the end though, it was everything I wanted and more.
How do you feel when you put on your dress?
When I put on my dress, I feel absolutely lovely. But, I also feel incredibly grateful for I know that this dress means so much more.
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
I chose to have my bridals done at Big Sky Barn because I wanted to be able to look back at these pictures and have them take me back to the place where we began our adventure as husband and wife. Not to mention I love the simple yet beautiful chapel!
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Don’t rush and don’t worry! I originally wanted to be married in the fall, but now we’ll have a beautiful spring wedding and couldn’t be happier. Take your time and enjoy your engagement and planning, as it’ll all work out in the end!
