Brittany and Sean met years ago while a part of the core group at St. John’s cathedral (the church they were married in). Sean’s mom had two tickets to a Mardi Gras ball so he invited Brittany and her roommate at the time. The night of the ball, they hit it off and sparked the chemistry that would eventually develop into their lifelong commitment.

Brittany has always been a person who appreciated the way things used to be. She would rather receive a note, than an email and romance doesn’t equal gifts in her book. She loves the simple things, like when a gentleman stands as a lady approaches a table, or takes off his hat when he enters a building. Sean possesses the traits of a true gentleman and has continued to show her daily that he is the chilavrous man she’s always dreamed of marrying.

For Brittany + Sean, the most important aspect of their wedding day was the sacrament of the marriage. They are so focused on Christ and were ready and willing to enter into their lives as one with the Lord as their center. They truly believed that God created one another for the other…and were both ecstatic to begin their journey as husband and wife.

From the beginning, they wanted a wedding that was exciting, sacred, and breathtakingly beautiful…well, the Lord definitely took care of them because in my opinion, the day was perfect! Amelia and I are both SO thankful that you allowed us to be a part of your day, photographing and holding still all of the beautiful and fun moments within! 🙂 Enjoy your wedding post!!!

To start…one of my alltime favorite ring shots!

This is the crucifix that Brittany and Sean held between their hands during the vows.

I’m so in love with Brittany’s Badgley Mischka shoes!

Isn’t Brittany adorable?! Her best friend wrote her the sweetest note and made an ornament with her invitation inside. 🙂 So thoughtful…

Brittany’s sister was responsible for everyone’s makeup on the wedding day and she did a beautiful job!

WOW….in L.O.V.E. with Brittany’s necklace. It was the PERFECT accessory for her vintage lace gown.

While I was with Brittany + her bridesmaids as they got ready for the day, Amelia was with Sean and his groosmen.

Not only do I love their gray suits, with the teal ties, but they even wore Toms for the wedding! This was so unique…and special as it provided shoes for that many children in another country. Although this is totally fashionable, I know that Brittany + Sean made this decision because of who they are, and their ability to always think of others.

Amelia, you’ll have to give me the details behind this shot…but I imagine this is his elvis impression! lol

…..Can you say Barney underpants? 😉

Are you kidding me with this gorgeousness? Gorgeous women, gorgeous light…gorgeous gowns and gorgeous location! What more could I have asked for? 🙂

During Brittany and Sean’s engagement session, they started writing the letters that they’d read on their wedding day. Here, moments before their ceremony, they finally had the opportunity to share their most intimate thoughts with one another.

It was an emotional moment for the two of them, and it was really neat to capture it on camera.

This shot cracks me up.

Now…THIS is a reaction. The moment the doors opened, Sean was all smiles…and tears.

Can you blame him? Brittany is stunning.

The ceremony was perfect… Brittany’s dad even dressed in his robe and served in their wedding.

Love radiates from Sean when he looks at Brittany.

…and vice versa.

🙂 This.Is. Awesome. 🙂

Mr. and Mrs. Sean Primeaux

The kiss after the kiss.

Brittany + Sean opted not to do a First Look, so we made sure to spend some time after the ceremony taking pictures of them in those first few moments as newlyweds.

AH! Love this one.

Their first dance was so sweet and so full of love.

…and not just love between Brittany + Sean, but love from their friends and family as well.

Sweet Southern Ladies did it again…Brittany’s cake was a major hit amongst her guests.

Sean was also super stoked about his cake by Crystal Weddings!

Just after their cake cutting, Brittany’s dad gave a toast to the bride and groom. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including my teary eyes.

Their reaction to the toast…

Now..this is a good crew! 🙂 They were up for anything.

And as they left their City Club reception, their closest friends and family members sprinkled them with flowers and best wishes.

Brittany and Sean, I hope your Costa Rica honeymoon was fabulous and relaxing! And I hope that every day from this day forward is filled with love and the Lord. You have been such an inspiration to me…and such a beautiful example of what the Lord can do if you allow him to. 🙂 Thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding day, and thank you for allowing me to get to know you …and call you friends.

These pictures are stunning! I don’t even know the couple but I got teary eyed at the apparent love they have for each other and the masterful way that you captured it! Wonderful!

Wow, what an amazing job you did. The pictures are more that I wished for and you captured the essence of Brittany and who she is. Thank you so much for being a part of their wedding and capturing these special moments. Of course I didn’t see most of them as they were happening so thank you for capturing them. May God continue to bless your obvious talents and that you too will experience a love like theirs!
