Holly + Neil were a part of her dad’s adventure to take a trian ride from New Orleans to Chicago…and Chicago to Montana. But what Holly didn’t realize is that she and Neil would be soon starting a whole new adventure of their own. When they arrived in Montana, she and Neil took a car of their own down a one-lane road…winding and pulling over to let cars go by, all in an effort to walk four miles up a mountain! They passed hikers along the way as they told them them that the hike was “easy” and that they were “almost to the top.”
At 3,000 feet in the air Neil told Holly that he believed if they could climb THAT mountain together..that they could do anything. 🙂 And he proposed to her there…overlooking the beautiful view! Holly’s ring is so different, a unique sapphire engagement ring that is the perfect display of her specialness.
Holly + Neil opted to shoot their session in the downtown area of Lafayette. It’s been awhile since I photographed there..and I REALLY enjoyed the spontaneity of the location (including our gelato stop)…and passing crossfit runners. LOL And I loved all the fun textures in that area!
I laughed..A LOT…with these two, and really enjoyed having the opportunity to document them during such a special time in their lives! Check out a preview of their shoot below!
