Last December when Ian and Lauren flew back home from Christmas, there was a chauffeur holding up a sign with their names on it and a limo waiting outside. Ian played it off and told her this was her Christmas present, a ride through all the Christmas lights in the city (one of her favorite things to do!) and dinner. They drove to Commander’s Palace, which was the first restaurant Lauren took Ian to in New Orleans. As they were walking up to the restaurant, Ian stopped Lauren under the iconic awning, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Both of their families were waiting inside to celebrate!
Lauren was born and raised in New Orleans, and Ian has grown to love the city just as much. They chose the French Quarter for their photos because it’s the cultural center of all of what New Orleans has to offer! They also took some photos at Broussard’s, where they will be having their reception!
