It’s kind of neat that I can write about Scott and Rachel’s proposal… because I was there! Rachel has been a part of our family for SO long now…it’s awesome that they are going to be making it officially official this year at their destination wedding!
The day Scott and Rachel closed on their house, they pulled up in the drive way with keys in hand. Well, Scott had the keys in HIS hand..because the ring for Rachel was attached to it. As Rachel went up to open the door with her set, Scott asked if she’d prefer to use his. She was confused of course … but as she turned around she saw the ring on the key chain, and Scott on one knee.
I will never forget witnessing that moment; and it meant SO much that they asked me to be there!!! Just before the holidays, we photographed their engagement session at Nottoway Plantation! It was a rainy day but we made the best of it and I am so excited to share a few of my favorites below:
