Lindsey + Justin originally met through the University of Louisiana’s Greek system. He was a pike and she was a KD. They love spending their time at UL sporting events, concerts and whatever other event allows them to spend time together. They are each other’s best friends and if you’re privileged to spend just a few minutes with them, it’s obvious to others what they have is very special.
Lindsey + Justin’s wedding could be described as vintage, classy, and elegant. Their color palette was neutral including both ivory and grey with occasional splashes of a jewel-toned green (Mallard) and a soft yellow!
Lindsey has always been drawn to a vintage aesthetic and so when thinking of her wedding day she says it was pretty easy to envision the style. What’s really cool, is that what Lindsey wanted most was to achieve a specific feeling for their day: a day revolving around she and Justin’s love as well as their friends and family celebrating….and just having fun with them!!!
Although Lindsey says her favorite detail was her wedding dress she also loves the ring she gifted her mother on she + Justin’s wedding day. Mrs. Brigette has been Lindsey’s rock throughout the wedding planning process and Lindsey says the wedding wouldn’t have been the same if it weren’t for Mrs. Brigette’s help in the planning! Lindsey hopes that ring will forever be a reminder of how much her mom means to her and a reflection on this special time they had together.
There was SO much work that went into their wedding day. They created their own programs, the signage at their reception, gifted guests with hand-made pepper jelly and their first dance was even performed by Lindsey’s brother and friend Amenah!
From my perspective, the day couldn’t have been more beautiful and I really cannot say enough about Justin, Lindsey or either of their families. They treated Amelia and I with the utmost respect and I cannot express the gratitude I feel toward them. I’ve enjoyed working with Lindsey + Justin from the get-go and having the chance to meet and work with their families was icing on the cake for me.
