I first crossed paths with Allison while studying architecture at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. From the first day, I was quickly introduced to her extreme talent and attention to detail…specifically regarding video.
Allison and her team worked with our unit of graduate students to create a short promotional film in an effort to raise funds for the BeauSoleil project. I was deeply impressed with Allison and loved working with her so much that one year later, I contacted her to assist me with the creation of my individual thesis film. Together, we created a film to promote sustainability.
….Our working relationship continued: When I finished graduate school in architecture and moved on to grow and develop my wedding photography business, Allison and I worked together once more to film the interview-style video on my website. [She also created the short clips in the transitions of my current site.]
And then Peter proposed.
When Allison contacted me to photograph her wedding…WOW. I was SO floored and honored. She is someone that I look up to as a creator, an innovator and an artist.
It’s been such a fun journey working with her. She and Peter have such unique ideas about their imagery and the experience couldn’t have gone better. These pictures are absolutely stunning! Allison and Peter have just recently designed my logo and business card for my up and coming wedding venue in Mansfield, LA. The timing could not have been better as they were planning their own wedding during the same time. It is so amazing to see them sharing such a beautiful day. They deserve it!
I was really happy when Allison told us that Catherine was doing the photography for her wedding. I was introduced to Catherine through the video work but Allison showed us examples of her work. Creativity is a spark and inspiration – a breath of genius. Catherine truly revealed that through these photos. I can’t wait to see the wedding photos!
