She loves high heels, the Saints, and Ella Grace. It’s no wonder Colby fell for this Barbie Girl. She spends her days at the gym, and at home taking care of Ella, making beautiful things (including her own wedding decor).
I was BLOWN away by Jade’s creativity Friday night at their wedding….(more on during their wedding post.)
For Jades bridal session, it was far from an easy day for her, but I never heard ONE complaint…only laughter. There were a ton of mosquitoes and a slight mid-day downpour….but NEVER a frown…only smiles. 🙂 In the end, the rain clouds made a beautiful sky, Jade was able to flaunt her high and we all enjoyed a fun evening near the train tracks.
Jade wore a BEAUTIFUL ivory Oleg Cassini gown with champagne lace.

I was THRILLED when Jade said that she was down for shooting here! That’s what I like about her; she’s unafraid of a little adventure!

The image below is the one Jade chose as her reception display. We went back and forth for the longest time over the topic of “tradition” and what’s acceptable. In the end, she decided to go for it, to be different and to be 100% Jade. And I am SO proud of her for that! I love this image because it makes me smile. And all of her friends and family that saw this image smiled too, because this is who she is.

I hope you and Colby are off having the most romantic honeymoon one could ask for! The wedding was beautiful; your creativity definitely showed on your wedding day and the candle light wedding was just as you wanted it. Thank you for allowing me to capture the essence of who you are in these photos. You are always walking to your own Jade beat…and I love that about you. I can’t wait to post your wedding photos on the blog.
