“Whatever our Souls are Made of, His and Mine are the Same.”

Four years ago their paths crossed, and so did their hearts. There was something about him that drew her his way; and their connection was magnetic. Emily and Trey have what most couples dream of, an undeniable connection that will last a lifetime.

She just loves that something about him and around him, she’s completely Emily. Beautiful, happy, smiling Emily. Four years ago, their journey together began at Whole Foods, and for the next four years they spent time getting to know once another and growing toward what they are now…Husband and Wife. He has given her his heart forever, and she has done the same for him.

Every detail of the wedding was a perfect reflection of their style and attention to detail. It was beautiful, the lighting, the setting, the decor, and their love…beautiful.

Melissa did a wonderful job with the bouqets! And Emily’s face when she saw her bouquet was priceless.

OH…and Emily’s shoes. STUNNING! They are Emily’s favorite wedding purchase and I can completely understand why.

I seriously could not take enough photos of them! They’re SO beautiful.

Emily’s gown was absolutely gorgeous. It was simple, yet textured and detailed in a way that accentuated her perfectly.

Between Mrs. Anne and Janine, every detail was creative and well executed.

This is one of my favorite details: heart-shaped tree ornaments made of bird seeds.

Emily… 🙂

She’s so pleasant to be around…Kaci Misita did a wonderful job with Emily’s makeup. 🙂

Emily slipped into her gown in the upstairs room of Greenwood Planation, her wedding venue.

LOVE

Mrs. Anne and Emily are SO close and so sweet.

I spent sometime with Trey before the wedding. He’s so kind and his friends had me laughing non-stop! According to Trey, they’ve been friends for as long as he can remember.

As the music played and guests arrived, everyone anxiously anticipated the start of the wedding.

And as Trey looked up, there she was. Brides always ask me to photograph the expression of their fiance as they walk down the aisle. I don’t think Emily could have missed this smile from a mile away.

The moments before they met where there were a series of exchanged glances. I LOVE their reaction to seeing each other.

When the readings began, Emily glanced over her shoulder with the most radiant and joy-filled smile.

Mr. and Mrs. Trey McLean

I love the sweetness that exists between these two and they way they are so comfortable around one another.

…and they know how to be silly too! 🙂

Confections by Michelle created a wonderful cake for Emily + Trey; Elegant and tasty!!

And I believe Best Catered Events is the best around. Their presentation of the food is unmatched.

Emily + Trey’s first dance as husband and wife…

I believe this is my favorite image from the day.

When Emily was growing up her grandfather told her that he would be there to crack a confetti egg over her head. Since he passed, Mr. Gary cracked the egg over Emily’s head for him. It was a funny moment…

…and a sad one as well.

The McLeans and the Baudouin’s had a special guest attend the wedding. 🙂 He supervised the entire event from the tree top.

As Emily and Trey danced to their last song, every one observed their happiness.

Emily + Trey,

I had a wonderful time photographing your wedding. It was a beautiful event and being able to capture the natural love that exists between the two of you is so nice. Your love is real, unforced and undeniable. Thank you, thank you for letting me be a part of your day. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together…

Catherine I felt like I had a member of my family taking pictures for my beautiful daughter’s wedding. You brought such a tremendous level of perception and sensitivity to the photography. You caught all of the photos that a Daddy wants to see. My baby is happy with the man she loves. I’m telling everyone at work about you. I know your Mom and Dad must be very proud of you. God bless you and thank you.
