The day was beautiful. With a light stand in each hand and my Kelly Moore bag slung over my right shoulder, I made my way from Canal Place to the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans.
Sarah and Nathan decided that New Orleans was the spot for their engagement session; and I couldn’t have been more excited about the shoot. Being that this was my first engagement session in the area, I didn’t know what to expect. And I was driven by the challenge.
As I stood in the center of the French Quater observing as I waited for their arrival, I was struck by the incredible uniqueness of this city. There were people of ALL types, style, and personality walking through the streets. There was music playing, singing, and dancing. One man even pushed his silver and black glittered cart while doing all three.
Needless to say, it was an interesting experience and I had a blast. If you haven’t seen the first portion of Sarah and Nathan’s session, you can view that HERE.
Sarah + Nathan,
You guys are so great! Even at the sailboats when the breeze picked up you were SO patient and easy to work with. 🙂 Enjoy your images and I’ll be in touch soon,
Catherine
