It was December of last year and Shelby + Jake made plans to attend the UL Bowl Game. With Jake being an avid LSU fan, it made attending the game an even bigger deal!
Shelby’s entire family was in attendance but no one knew that a proposal was coming except for her parents and her brother. As Jake, Shelby and her entire family gathered together for a family photo, Jake passed Shelby a signed football.
But when she focused in on the words she was baffled by the phrase “Congratulations” – Coach Hud
Before she could even question his note, Jake was already beside her down on one knee. She was completely surprise by the proposal! As Shelby wrapped her arms around Jake, the air filled with cheering as UL fans stood and clapped around them!
Shelby + Jake chose to photograph their engagement session at Jungle Gardens….one of my all-time favorite venues for engagement sessions. After spending some time with these two…it’s obvious the depth and sweetness of their connection to one another. I’m privileged to be working with such a lovely couple and I’m happy to share some of my favorites from their engagement session. I mean…could they be ANY more photogenic???! 🙂 ENJOY!
