It was a Sunday afternoon. And like most Sundays in the fall, they spent the afternoon watching football. Bobby is a true outdoorsman with a strong love for adventure and…the saints. So, when the Saints lost that day it may not have been the best day, but it didn’t matter. Because anyday with Ashley, is a good day.
And it was on that Sunday, that day that would have been a not-so-good day had SHE not been there, Bobby took her outside. 🙂 Ashley, found it a bit odd that on a football day he wanted to spend some time away from the TV, but being the easy-going gal that she is…she went along for the ride. 😉 And there on that Sunday while they were sitting outside soaking in the sun, he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.
You see the wonderful thing about Ashley + Bobby is the way that they just work. She fits comfortably into his arms and everytime he looks Ashley’s way, there’s a smile and slight giggle that comes out of his mouth. They laugh… a lot. And most of all, they have a way of enjoying the small moments in life: the moments that can pass you by in a blink if you’re not looking.
The afternoon of their engagements, despite the swarm of mosquitos and Louisiana humidity, there was an even great number of those small moments between these two…and I enjoyed every minute with them. 🙂

The lighting the day of their engaments was perfect!
The day didnt work out quite how we planned. We anticipated shooting in a completely different location but thanks to their laid back and easy going personalities we ended up here at Jungle Gardens…the perfect place for them!
It couldn’t have worked out more beautifully. And I just adore the outfits they chose! They worked so well with the place!
As much as Bobby loves the outdoors, he must have felt right at home here.
