When I first met Caty, I was photographing her cousin’s wedding. There’s usually one bridesmaid that I’ll really connect with at a wedding. They’ll help to keep me in the loop with the schedule and inform me of how things are going with the bride. They’re usually the closest bridesmaid to the bride and the one who the she looks to for help on her wedding day. For Megan + Josh’s wedding, that bridesmaid was Caty.
After Megan’s wedding had passed I ran into Caty again and she told me that when she got married I would photograph her wedding. She wasn’t even dating at the time so it meant the world to me that when she did get engaged…she remembered and hired me!
We’ve kept in touch via facebook and gotten to know each other throughout this process and I couldn’t be more thankful to have had the opportunity to work with this sweet soul. Even when I showed up to photograph Caty + Bud’s engagements, she gifted me with two beautiful scarves…one of which has quickly become my “go to” scarf accessory! 🙂
