It was Lindsey + Josh’s first trip to the beach with both she, Josh, and both of their families! Everyone was there enjoying the trip, lovely sunsets, and the peaceful sounds of the waves.
Lindsey had absolutely no idea what Josh was planning; in her mind it was simply a trip to spend time with family and relax on the beach….But Josh had other plans.
It was a little before sunset and Josh encouraged Lindsey to get dressed for pictures. He said they were to be ready for family photos at dusk. Just before sunset, Lindsey made her way toward the water. Her hair and makeup were perfect and she was ready for their photo opp.
For just a moment Lindsey looked back to check for another family member, and when she turned around Josh was already down on one knee!

Lindsey + Josh have chosen me to photograph their wedding and I couldn’t feel more privileged. I have had such a wonderful time already getting to know them and photographing them for their engagement session! (despite the fact that during the shoot we saw a black bear!)
