Scott planned nothing short of an elaborate proposal for his fiance’ Kourtni! It entailed everything from custom-made signs to a room full of die-hard Rajun Cajun Fans. It was the night of UL Fan Day, taking place in NOLA for the UL New Orleans Bowl. Scott made sure to contact all of her friends and family to make sure they were there for the event! It was really the perfect opportunity to propose…bcause Kourtni would assume they were there for the game!
As the fan day cheering began, Scott grabbed Kourtni and pulled her to the front of the crowd. This was a common occurence for them, so Kourtni thought nothing of his excitement. But behind them…her friends and family were gathering too.
The fight song started, so Scott turned to Kourtni and told her ‘this one was for her.’
And when cheerleading squad began to raise each of Scott’s 5 signs, she read from left to right “WILL YOU MARRY ME KOURTNI?” She was shocked as Scott got down on one knee and the loud sounds of cheering took over the room!!!
There, surrounded by a FULL room of RAGIN CAJUNS, she said YES!
………We opted to shoot their engagement session in the lovely development of River Ranch here in Lafayette. Scott brought along the truck that he renovated with his father and I had an awesome time photographing these two! 🙂 They’re true souls and I cannot wait for their wedding!
I decided to break their engagement session into two parts. This first part, being featured today on the blog, includes their film photos! Tomorrow…I’ll be showing the last two outfits and some other fun shots of this adorable couple.
I saw this proposal! It was awesome & these pictures are gorgeous!
Congratulations again!!!!!
Awesome pictures! Thanks Catherine for giving us these incredible memories!!
