What three adjectives best describe your wedding?
Elegant, Grand, Magnificent

Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
We chose to get married at St. John’s Cathedral for several reasons. I attended Cathedral Carmel in middle school and made my first communion at St. John’s; therefore, this church is very special to me. Also, we chose to get married at the Cathedral simply because it is beautiful!

What was your favorite wedding detail?
My favorite wedding detail was my bracelet. It was a very special gift from my sweet parents. When I was born, and every year following, my Dad bought me a diamond. He had all of them saved until the day I got married. My parents used these diamonds to make a gorgeous bracelet for me. I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT!

What was your best wedding day memory?
My favorite memory of the day was the very second the Cathedral doors opened, and I saw Cory!

How did you incorporate your personalities into your wedding celebration?
Cory LOVES LSU, so for his grooms cake, we designed Tiger Stadium and used bundtini’s from Nothing Bundt Cakes to spell out LSU on the field and as the “fans” in the crowd.  I incorporated my personality with the music, both at the ceremony and at the reception. For the ceremony, we had Mark and Kristen Dunbar singing praise and worship. For the reception, I wanted an upbeat, super fun band that knew how to get a party started. Az Izz, from Atlanta, Georgia, DID JUST THAT! My feet still hurt from dancing so much! 🙂  Also, everyone knows how much I LOVE sushi! Another way I incorporated my personality into our wedding was having a big sushi station at the reception!

What is your wedding song?
“Thousand Years” – Christina Perri
