Meeting Brandy has been nothing short of a blessing, and I owe a huge thanks to event planner Valerie Metrejean of Southern Fete for that.
Brandy is the type of woman that stands apart from the rest; her soul and uplifting spirit is contagious and I LOVE her spicy attitude! 🙂 Like most brides, she was nervous for her bridal session but once we started pulling out the pieces of her that shined the most, I could see her relaxing more by the minute.
Truly, I can’t say enough. I feel like she was brought my way for a reason and I am so thankful to have been there for her and Steve’s wedding this past Saturday. I wouldn’t have rathered spent my New Year’s Day any other way than enjoying the zest for life there…..and Canadian dancing. 😉
When I see a bride in her gown, it tells me SO much. It talks to me about her personality and her style.
As you can see Brandy’s dress is completely her. Underneath that simple, yet detailed elegance is a stunning and bold shade of deep red.

I told her that I was blown away! My first glance and impression of her was of her in her wedding gown.
And she looked GORGEOUS!!! If only we could all be so lucky! 😉
Brandy had her Hair and Makeup done by Salon Indigo. They always do such a wonderful job and Brandy looked especially stunning.
And I absolutely loved the detail on her veil and her gown.
This was the image Brandy chose to display as her reception print. We all sat down together and agreed…THIS is Brandy. 🙂

You see, the thing I love about Brandy is the way she just lets people in. Immediately, we were friends and she trusted me…no matter what my crazy ideas were: including this image below…..her standing on a tree stump in her gown. 🙂 …I think it was worth it!

I’ve said it so many times but I’ll say it again JUST so you know. 😉 You’re awesome. Steve’s awesome. And your family is AWESOME. You guys have made me feel so special and SO welcome. Working with you has been a pleasure. And I am so thankful that Valerie introduced us. I hope you’re enjoying your first few days of marriage and I will have your wedding post up soon.

Wow, you did this so quickly and beautifully. Steve and I have been reflecting over our day for two days now and we just can’t seem to find the words that explain how grateful we are for you. Every single person we visited on Sunday made a comment about the photographer and the wedding planner; even the hardest of those to please. We felt so proud, it was like they were talking about our little sister. Many people thought you were a family member and after they sat back for a minute they realized you had a nice camera with you and that you must be the photographer. We could not think of any one else we would want to capture our day but more then that, we couldn’t think of any one better to spend our day with. You seem to be someone who has always been a part of us. Your outgoing, kind spirit is infectious and left me feeling comfortable through out the night, I never once thought twice about the camera (shocking for me I know). Every time I looked your way it was like checking in with an old friend.
