Several years ago, Chrissy and I met through our boyfriends. Chrissy and I would spend time hanging out while they’d play music. Chrissy would arrive (always so fashionable) with her knitting bag in hand…and eventually, I wanted to take part as well!
Over the next few months, not only did I learn to knit but I also gained a new, INCREDIBLE friend! Chrissy and I hit it off from the start. I think we saw eye-to-eye on several things, including the way I really understand and relate to her personality! We’re very similar in a lot of ways and I ALWAYS have fun with her! 🙂 And Bryn is such the perfect match for Chrissy.
I can still remember when I found out Chrissy was engaged. I just wrapped up a rehearsal dinner when I opened my phone to see the news; I was SO SO SO happy!!! Chrissy + Bryn are both pilots, having met years ago in Florida while attending flight school. So, when Bryn suggested the afternoon they got engaged that he and Chrissy go for a flight together, it wasn’t out of the norm for them! Only when they were on their way down from landing, Chrissy spotted a sign asking her to marry him!!!! <3
Bryn describes he and Chrissy as “beach folks” who love the sun and the sand so it’s pretty perfect they’ll be getting married amongst the waves this Fall! 🙂 Chrissy + Bryn now live here in Louisiana with their beautiful dog Tyson…and are preparing to embark in this life together.
They chose to photograph their engagements in a place that was not only different but also fitting for them: an airport’s airstrip…and we wrapped up the shoot in a gorgeous, yellow field of flowers! *swoon*
It’s been so fun being a part of the festivities for this couple not only as a friend but as a photographer as well! I’m looking forward to photographing Chrissy’s bridals in the Fall and ATTENDING their wedding!!! 🙂
