This is my last 2013 review blogpost, looking back at the WEDDINGS of last year. All I can say is WOW. In 2013, I began shooting film, traveled to new places, and met so many new and wonderful people. I laughed and I cried…(sometimes over sad moments, sometimes over happy times, and sometimes over those hard instances that I can only grow from.)
I learned more about my craft and more about the type of person that I want to be. And each day I feel that I’ve met a new challenge just by completing the work I was hired to do to the best of my ability.
I cannot say thank you enough to the gratitude I feel for each and every couple who chooses me for their wedding. It truly means the world to me.
I was scared when I chose to forego architecture to pursue photography but because of these couples, I’m able to continue doing something that makes me happy. Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it’s stressful at times. But it’s SO worth it. I LOVE being creative and documenting such emotional and heartfelt moments: moments that sometimes the couple don’t even see happening. I look forward to each and every wedding because I know they’re all so different, beautiful and unique.
I’d like also like to give a special thanks to Amelia, Haylei, and Brad for being so supportive and helpful this past year.
Below is last year’s weddings in review. I hope you enjoy looking through them as much as I enjoyed taking them:::
