This bride is one of the most talented I’ve met! She’s a visionary…a TRUE visionary and executes her visions with effortless detail! For Heather’s wedding, she handcrafted SO many of her details including……using her calligraphy skills to address her wedding invitations, menus, and entrance sign; creating her runners, favors, and backdrops……and the list goes on and on and on!
Oh?! And did I mention she’s a wedding photographer? She and Matt are my first couple I’ve photographed who also shoot weddings; and I felt SO incredibly honored to be working with them!
Heather photographed her bridals in the most LOVELY New Orleans setting…a balcony apartment in the MIDST of the French Quarter! The apartment was right on Royal in my favorite area!
I have absolutely fallen for New Orleans over the past few months and I had a blast photographing Heather in a city I know she also loves so dearly.
Heather wore a gorgeous and unique Tara Keely wedding gown. She had a removable tulle skirt designed for her dress and her juliet cap really finished the look (designed by her mother from her own wedding gown and modeled after Heather’s great-grandmother’s veil from the 1920’s). I loved Heather’s hair/makeup (by Brandi Zito) and her Poppy and Mint bouquet…and I had an absolute blast with this fun and uber talented bride!
I cannot WAIT to blog the newlyweds : Mr. and Mrs. Grimm wedding but first I’d like to begin with a preview of the bride!
