Because Hunter works in California he told Abby that he wanted to have professional photos taken of them when he came home the week of Thanksgiving. He informed the photographer ahead of time that he had plans to propose…and with their help he would have that moment documented!
The shoot began and the photographer asked them to hold hands. Then, they asked Abby to walk slightly ahead of Hunter and then turn around to face him. When she did…he was down on one knee (with a velvet ring box and gold H on top!)
Not only did Abby describe the proposal as “perfect” but her ring as well. She’d always wanted a pear and this particular ring has their birthstones hidden in the setting for her. She says it still melts her heart when she looks at it.
AHHH….I love this proposal and these two! We photographed their engagement session in Rayville where they’ll soon be married! It was a gorgeous day and we laughed so much. I cannot wait for their wedding and to document these two as they tie the knot! 🙂
