Was this the dress you initially thought you’d wear for your wedding?
Not at all. I tried on tons of dresses that were very different from the dress I chose. However, they were all extremely uncomfortable and heavy!
Tell Me About Your Dress! Why did you choose this look?
I chose my dress because it was simple, yet still had a romantic feel to it. It was the only dress I tried on that was comfortable and still made me feel like a bride!
How do you feel when you put on your dress?
I feel excited, anxious, and a little nervous about the big day! However, most of all, I feel ready to marry the love of my life!
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
I chose Nottoway Plantation since it is the site of both our ceremony and reception. I wanted to take my bridals at a place that would always bring special memories to me and Jared.
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. Be flexible and have fun! And definitely choose Catherine Guidry as your photographer!
