Emily and I were neighbors at first. We would chat in passing as neighbors do and smile when we’d see each other. I knew little about Emily at the time except for the fact that she was super sweet and fun to talk to!
When Emily contacted me to photograph her wedding we both giggled at the fact that we had been neighbors for quite some time but neither of us knew each others’ last names. So, when someone recommended that she contact me for her wedding…she was surprised to see my photo in the about section of my website!
We met in my office and talked about her wedding and her fiance’ Derek. We made several more connections that we didn’t even know we had and I’ve spent the past several months getting to know Emily beyond “just neighbors.” 🙂
She’s so kind and loves Derek with all her heart. <3 We bonded over our nervousness at times and I admire Emily’s ability to always put others first. Like I told Emily, she makes others feel (me included) like they can just be themselves. <– what an incredible quality!
