Taylor and Clinton met for the first time at the airplane outside of LSU Stadium. And although they didn’t talk much during that initial interaction he continued to come to the games every weekend. Through those visits, their friendship turned into a relationship and they began to date long distance. As time went on, careers changed and Clinton finally landed in the same city as Taylor.
Then….he proposed. <3
They were on their way to “dinner with friends” when Clinton convinced Taylor to stop at LSU’s campus. The reasoning he gave her was that he wanted to bring something to his cousin who was meeting him there. But when they arrived to the front of the airplane outside of LSU Stadium, he grabbed her arm…admitted that his cousin wasn’t there and got down on one knee! Through nods and a speechless yes, Taylor agreed!!! And although his cousin wasn’t there, Taylor’s best friend and husband were (who got the entire proposal on video!) 🙂
But the surprises didn’t end there! After they drove to Lafayette (for what Taylor assumed was now dinner for two), Clinton had arranged for her parents, his parents, brother and uncle to all be there for them! So perfect.
