The day started at the Carriage House…Robyn is SO organized. Everything from the day was organized on her iphone and in a wedding folder. And it was SO evident the entire day!!!!…..

She wantedΒ  a timeless and romantic event.

The bridesmaids’ dresses were chosen because Robyn loved the soft, Romantic Color…

The color of the dresses reminded her of one of her favorite movies Steel Magnolias,

“My colors are Blush and Bashful”…Each girl chose their favorite design!

Robyn and Scott’s favorite part of the day was being able to share their happiness with so many they love.

These images were taken on the ride to the ceremony. Despite the fact that I got a little car sick…..I think I had as much fun as they did. I especially love the bottom imagewhere you can see the beer droplets and cap flying from the bottle!!

The groomsmen were looking ESPECIALLY sharp!!!!… πŸ™‚

The ceremony took place at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. The “D” logo was one of Robyn’s favorite details used throughout the day.

Father Gary was especially significant to the couple. He’s been a part of the family since Robyn’s parents were married…through her baptism…all the way until now at her own wedding ceremony.

Pure joy radiated from Scott’s face as Robyn walked down the aisle.

This was the most memorable moment for Robyn…looking at Scott waiting for her at the alter, she truly realized that they had their whole lives together.

This was their funniest moment from throughout the day. This image was taken right after Robyn and her dad kissed through her veil’s blusher. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

There was SO much emotion scattered throughout the day…laughter, tears….I was happy to be there to witness and capture these moments.

Robyn started crying just before the liturgy of the Eucharist. Her grandparents have been married for 65 years and are still SO in love…..I wish you and Scott the next 65 together, too, Robyn!!

Moments like this one are what make my job all worth it. Their expressions truly tell the story.

Robyn and Scott met through mutual friends when Scott started medical school at LSU New Orleans…

And he proposed in Audobon Park after a nice dinner in the French Quarter.

The ring Scott gave Robyn belonged to his grandmother…

When I looked over at Robyn’s parents during the ceremony, I was able to snap this image to the right.

It was after the proposal that Scott and Robyn were able to finalize her ring selection….

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Daugherty

The trolley ride was another favorite part of Robyn & Scott’s day….the image of Lauren was taken as they were jammin to “Who Dat?!!”

Priceless…

Robyn & Scott spent nearly the entire night dancing…they truly enjoyed their day and they want everyone to know that!!!

This was a very special moment, when Robyn whispered “I love you” at the end of her Father/Daughter dance.

And THIS Is the amazing UL homecoming & Lagniappe day cake with Cream cheese & Chocolate chip filling that Robyn LOOOVEEESSS!!!!

The Fleur Des Lis is very important to Scott & Robyn (UL, Hurricanes, Super Bowl!). Thanks to Mickey for unifying the decor….Scott’s cake was AMAZZZIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!!!

Cake pulls, “Surgical Cutting Procedures”, and Cake Smashing…I love it.

What a great crew!!!

Robyn’s parents canned the fig preserves. It’s been a family tradition for YEARS!!!

And the dancing…..OHHH the dancing….NEVER stopped at their wedding!!!!!!

Scott & Robyn had a blast! πŸ™‚

…..And so did EVERYONE else!…..(including me!)

“And they alllll asked for YOU!!!!”……one of my personal favorite parts of the wedding!

Yes, that’s Robyn’s dad over the Best Man…AKA: Italian Stallion’s….shoulder!!!! lol..

Can you tell they were excited about the garter catch?!

Robyn & Scott plan to live in New Orleans until residency training is complete….Robyn has 5 more yrs in Radiology & Scott is about to begin a 5 year general surgery Residency.

Yes….that’s me in the bottom image…I even joined in on the fun! πŸ™‚

And I guess I’ll allow myself to be used for a good laugh. πŸ˜‰

I think EVERYONE had a good time!!!!!

Robyn & Scott honeymooned in St. Lucia, West Indies….They hope to one day settle in Acadiana near family & friends and start their own family! πŸ™‚ For now, Hurricane & Louisiana (their dogs) keep them busy!Β  πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Thank you both for allowing me to photography your day!!!!

Thank you again so much! You truly captured my emotions – I’m smiling or laughing in almost every photo. Scott and I were having the time of our lives! I can’t wait to see the rest – I know it’s going to be so hard to choose!
