Up until the day of Nikki’s bridals, we were going back and forth about the weather. Being a Southern bride, Nikki was prepared for bad weather…and ready/willing to have a backup plan. If there was ever a bride that goes with the flow, it’s Nikki. Her sweet and genuine heart has really made this experience an unforgettable one.
Approximately one month ago, I was contacted by The Victorian, the newest wedding venue in this area to photograph their historic home. I was impressed with the character of the architecture and excited for my first opportunity to photograph there. So, when Nikki and I expressed our concerns over the weather to each other, The Victorian popped into my head.
We started the shoot amongst so many beautiful and historical details at The Victorian. As owners, they’ve done an incredible job of preserving the integrity of the space….while making it a great spot for someone’s special day.
So, after the weather proved that it would hold out for us, we headed to Shadows on the Teche (our original location) for the remainder of the shoot! It was a perfect day and as always, I enjoyed the chance to spend time visiting with and photographing Nikki. After Saturday, I couldn’t be happier that she can now call herself Mrs. LeGlue!
Congratulations Nikki, and thank you so much for choosing me to be the one to photograph this special time in your life! Below are a few of my favorites from her bridal session:
It looks like you and Trav are having a wonderful time on your honeymoon! I’m excited to post the preview of your wedding day!
