The day after her friend’s wedding was the day he proposed. Kyle was going to propose to Alysia the day of the wedding but decided against it. Instead…he waited. The day following the wedding he went fishing and asked Alysia to dinner that evening.
Alysia spent the day planning a surprise party for him on the Sunday..all the while, he was planning her proposal. Kyle went to Copelands for her favorite appetizer, Carabbas for pasta and made sure to grab a dozen roses. They had plans to eat with friends who “cancelled” so they ate dinner at Kyle’s house instead. But even with the roses, and her favorites for dinner, she still had no idea the proposal was coming!
He started the proposal by telling her all of the reasons that he loved her……..and that he’s been shopping…..and then he pulls out…….wait. for. it: a ring sizer! LOL
She smiled and told him that he made her SO nervous. So, he responded with “Nervous like this…..” and proceeded to propose with her with her REAL engagement ring! He had been to every store in the city to find the ring that suits her so perfectly.
That night they celebrated with their parents…and have been celebrating since.
We shot their engagement session at one of my favorite locations: Jungle Gardens. The weather has been absolutely incredible lately….and I’m digging the light! I was thankful for the opportunity to spend more time with these two and I’m excited to share their session!
