Four years ago, two days before their wedding date, Thomas + Christy became official. After being introduced through mutual friends in their fraternity/sorority, Thomas and Christy began spending time together, growing the friendship/relationship that would 4 years later become a marriage.

Thomas + Christy are the type of couple that I really look up to (even though Christy + I are both short). 🙂 I love the way they are just so excited to be with each other; they truly care about the happiness of the other and thoroughly enjoy every small moment spent together. They are a couple that I know will have a lifetime of happiness together. And although you love wishes, Christy…none are necessary. You and Thomas are destined for a wonderful life.

Christy + Thomas wanted a traditional wedding with modern decor. And being the designers that they are, the wedding was styled with perfection. Thank you for allowing me into your lives and and for giving Amelia and I the opportunity to document your wedding day.

I hope getting “Maui-ed” after getting Married was all that you dreamed of. I really really really loved getting to know you and Thomas throughout this process and I can’t wait to see your lives grow together. 🙂

Let me go ahead and just start by saying…WOW Thomas, Christy’s ring: AHmazing. I absolutely LOVE Claude Thibaudeau’s line.

And I’m not sure what Thomas was doing here…he sort of looks like a CIA agent. Whatever it was, I am happy Amelia was there to capture it.

Her dress was bought by her recently deceased father, so of all the details, this was the most special to her.

Below is my favorite shot by Amelia on the wedding day!

Christy new from the get go that she wanted the color Teal incorporated into her wedding day…which so happens to be my favorite color!

As Amelia captured these special moments with Thomas + his groomsmen….

….I was also capturing special moments with Christy + her bridesmaids.

Hands down. I love this instant with all the girls swooning over her!!!!!

Amelia documenting Thomas’ excitement before the wedding. 🙂

What a gorgeous bridal party!

Without seeing each other, Thomas + Christy exchanged their gifts.

After the exchange, I grabbed a few shot of Christy + Thomas, seeing them…without them seeing each other.

Handsome. Aren’t their shoes…incredible!!!!

Thomas, are you fist pumping to “Going to the Chapel?”

Do you see what I mean about the details? LOVE.

During their rehearsal supper the night before, Thomas gifted each of his groomsmen with a different cufflink. SO cool.

While I was photographing the processional, Amelia grabbed this shot of Christy as she waited to walk down the aisle.

And here she is, the moment they opened the doors.

Thomas, your face says it all.

Christy was escorted by her beautiful mother, Ms. Monita…..a woman, I now have the honor of knowing.

The giving away of Christy was such a beautiful moment.

St. John’s cathedral is just stunning!

Even Will, Thomas’ brother was moved by the ceremony.

I can understand why Will was so touched. Christy’s uncle Herb did such an amazing job of telling the story of Christy + Thomas from their birth all the way to their wedding day.

The good times and the hard times were shared…and even I shed a tear…or two..or three.

Holding pinkies: it’s just what they do.

This makes me smile because it’s SO Christy.

Their wedding was the first where I’ve seen the muffs used and I really really loved them.

Following the wedding, Christy + Thomas spent a few minutes with me photographing in and around the church before we headed to the reception.

Christy’s cake = Gorgeous…their cake topper…WOW. The display was so well done.

It was pretty chilly on the wedding night and Thomas’s side of the bridal party was full of gentlemen. They not only gave the bridesmaids their coats, but held their flowers too. 🙂

Thomas + Christy’s first dance as husband and wife.

The dance with her godfather….

….and a surprise for Christy: her brother’s request to share a dance with her as well.

Not your traditional cake cutting?!

What an incredibly fun night!!!!

Are you kidding me with all this fun? They even play “The Train” for Thomas!!!!

And in ALL my weddings, I have NEVER seen such an intense fight for the garter!!!!

And as the night came to a close, I grabbed this shot of Thomas carrying Christy over the threshold.

Have a wonderful day!!!!! And if you’d like to join me on facebook, you can click the symbol below!
