When Emily and Kristen became sorority sisters, Kristen had no idea their friendship would be the connection to her future husband. At a UL tailgate, Emily volunteered that Tim + Kristen go together to their sorority social. And so…the night of the social became their first unplanned date.
Kristen spent the night listening to Tim’s stories of frogging & farming and very quickly became entranced by his country ways. A few months later, they went on their first date (or second…if you count the first one). 🙂 …And they’ve been growing together every day since.
If you haven’t read Tim’s proposal story or viewed their engagement session you should definitely take the time to do so HERE! From the day of their proposal until the 5th of October they were planning their perfect day: which truly was every bit of perfection.
Kristen + Tim wanted a classic wedding with a vintage flare, a wedding that focused around their marriage. The blush, plum, and ivory palette was spread throughout the details creating a soft and elegant look for the day (which I must admit I absolutely LOVED).
Kristen’s favorite details were her bridesmaid’s vintage spoon jewelry and the locket filled with a photo of her grandmother, which she wore on her bouquet.
For the Vondenstein wedding, the details and the moments all came together in a beautiful and special way. Below are a few of my favorites from the wedding; I’m honored Amelia and I were there to share in your day.
And a special thanks to all the vendors who helped to make this day special:
