Hanna had been living in Monroe working at Herringstone’s when the time came for change. So, she moved to Lafayette where she worked for an oil company and decided that Herringstone’s was where her heart belonged. She eventually opened her own Herringtone’s store here in Lafayette and has remained open since April 2010.

The month after her opening, she and a friend went to rhythms in River Ranch, and ended the night at the Tap Room (where she saw Jarrad for the first time.) But it wasn’t until about a week later that they both ended up at the Tap Room again; this was the night they met.

Jarrad took down her phone number and the next day they hung out for the first time. Jarrad left for work but Hanna must never have left his mind because when he returned he took her out again. And again. And again. And again.

Hanna + Jarrad are a perfect partnership. They compliment each other and really know how to have fun. It’s been so wonderful working with these two because they’ve been a constant reminder to keep things light and enjoy life.

Hanna has always wanted a winter wonderland wedding, which was made perfect with the man of her dreams. Having a January wedding allowed her the day she always dreamt of. Pinterest was a huge help, allowing her imagination to make the day a reality. From my perspective it was perfect!

I especially loved she and her bridesmaids in their stunning fur wraps (Hanna’s favorite purchase). Hanna + Jarrad’s wedding could be described as magical, white, and memorable; a day that will not be forgotten.

Hanna + Jarrad started their day at the Carriage House Hotel. Hanna was so generous in giving both her honorary bridesmaids and bridesmaids  gloves, jewelry, and fur wraps to match their dresses.

Hanna, you are gorgeous.

Hanna + Jarrad opted to do a First Look. It’s the perfect opportunity to relieve stress, get relaxed/natural light couples photos, and

photograph all bridal party/family photos prior to the wedding ceremony.

Hanna’s honorary bridesmaids were beautiful!

….as were her bridesmaids in their silver and ivory floor length gowns. I especially admired Hanna’s attention to detail in every aspect of her day.

The wedding was held at St. John’s, one of my favorite churches to photograph.

Every moment of the ceremony was beautiful.

The First Dance

The toasts left many in tears, including Hanna’s mother.

But there were funny moments as well!

And at the end of the wedding, Hanna + Jarrad exited in a snowy procession made of those they love most.
