Andrea + Thomas said from the beginning that what they MOST desired was a wedding focused around the mass and the sacrament of marriage. They wanted their day to be timeless, simple and elegant; it was EXACTLY that! 🙂
Their ceremony revolved around the Croation Marriage Crucifix Tradition (where they said their vows holding the crucifix and gave the crucifix a kiss before kissing each other). This idea stems from the thought that : “If one abandons the other, they abandon Christ on the cross.” And they will later display this crucifix in their home as a place of family prayer. They also served holy communion to their family and friends as their first apostolic endeavor together!
Andrea says her favorite detail was her dress…it was so unique and designed with her own stylish vision! She put a lace jacket over a champagne regal tafetta dress and instantly knew that it was hers. Thomas wore his late grandfather’s wedding ring, making it his favorite detail…one that’s both sentimental and beautiful.
I absolutely LOVED working with Andrea + Thomas for their engagements, for Andrea’s bridals , and especially for their wedding day. Their wedding was truly everything they dreamed of : loving, joyful, and more. Andrea + Thomas are the kind of couple you just WANT to be around. They make others feel good and are always thoughtful toward others. They’re leaders, paving a positive path to follow. I felt like Andrea + Thomas were more of friends than clients and I feel super special to have gotten to know them! 🙂
So without any more of my rambling, I’m thrilled to share a preview of their day! :
