The Rice Festival is a social event. People come from all over for the food, the music, and the dancing. Mary Katherine + Robbie probably didn’t know that weekend would be the start of a lifelong relationship. They crossed paths on Friday and again on Saturday. On Sunday, he texted her from his cell phone…Because you see, he already had the number. Their relationship as acquaintances had started long before that day. But timing is everything…and for them, the timing was right. That was almost four years ago.

Mary Katherine + Robbie had the most beautiful wedding!!! Their color palette of greys, butter cream yellow, and ivory filled the warehouse. Mary Katherine always knew she wanted to get married there for its antique/rustic look. She loves the brick and the warmth of the space and it turned out to be the perfect spot for her wedding.

The day was eventful and before we knew it, they were husband and wife. The wedding held so many wonderful moments (including Robbie splitting his pants). 🙂 And I’m honored that Amelia and I were there to capture it…ALL of it!

This is seriously one of the CUTEST little girls I’ve ever seen. 🙂

I always love the getting ready portion of the day. There’s anticipation in the air…and makeup everywhere.

I know what you’re thinking…WOW, right?! Her ring is stunning.

These shoes are Mary Katherine’s favorite detail. The Vera Wang flats suited her perfectly.

This is Robbie…such a cool guy. Amelia spent some time with the guys before the wedding and I just love how she truly captured him in this moment.

This was actually my first time shooting at the Warehouse and it was a really neat venue! There was the upstairs area designed perfectly for the ceremony and the downstairs area was reserved for the reception. The flow was great and the rustic feel was just what Mary Katherine wanted.

Robbie + Mary Katherine opted not to do a First Look, so we made some time after the ceremony to shoot with the two of them. 🙂

I was SOOO excited that we were still able to get some of that gorgeous natural light outside just before the sunset.

They really spent so much time making sure all the little details were in place. The venue was FILLED with things that made their wedding personal and unique.

I mean..does it get any cooler than this? Robbie was SO excited when he saw his cake and I think that’s just awesome.
