Super Bowl weekend, during Justin’s birthday dinner, things changed for Addie and Justin. There in that private room, after 8 years of growing together, Justin asked Addie to be his wife.
Because in that 8 years, their love had been tested. Even during Justin’s time in Iraq, their love survived. While he was away, Justin bought Addie her first yorkie pup…and later their second. And lucky for me, I was able to meet them both: Oliver and Cooper. 🙂
Addie is a woman who does her home work so I wasn’t surprised when she came up with two of the coolest locations EVER. So, I made the trip to Maringuin to spend the day with the two of them.
It was FREEEEZZZZZIIIINNNNNGGGGG. I shiver thinking about it, but thanks to Shari and the tough nature of Addie and Justin, we made it through the session. 🙂 🙂 🙂
I really don’t think Addie could have picked a better or more fitting location!
AND…it sheltered them from the cold and made them comfortable enough to snuggle up. 🙂 🙂

So, I have to say that….after what was my coldest session EVER….Addie, Justin, Addie’s sister Haylie and her fiance Eric invited me in for gumbo. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made me feel so special to spend the night hanging out! Seriously…my clients are the best. Thank you for being so hospitable and for a wonderful shoot!! You guys toughed out the cold, trusted me, and it was totally worth it. 🙂 🙂 🙂
