It was just another day away from the fashion industry in New York. She packed her bags, grabbed her plane ticket and headed to the airport. Flying is on her list of top fears, but with the wedding being that very weekend in Louisiana, she had no other option. During her lay-over in D.C., she volunteered to move to a different seat…..

It was just another day for him. As he boarded his flight from D.C. to Louisiana, anticipating a great weekend at Jazz Fest, a beautiful woman volunteered to sit next to him. Her name was Elise. And this is how they met.

The conversation began with their common fear of flying. And in the flight from Washington D.C. to Louisiana, a connection was made.

“We speak a language of our own,” Elise told me last Sunday. And I couldn’t agree more. What started as a long distance relationship between D.C. and New York has turned into a whirlwind of romance, an airplane proposal, and a new start together in the same city for Elise and Andy.

In the beginning of their relationship, they spend their time talking on the phone and getting to know one another. After their first weekend together in New York as a couple, they knew it was meant to be.

We had a lot of fun shooting. They were really trusting and relaxed.

It’s still kind of hard to comprehend their story: Everything about it is sooo romantic!

Andy is slightly more reserved than Elise and together they make the perfect pair.

I would describe Elise as detail oriented and outgoing. 🙂 I love that she took the time to really think about their outfits, and to even bring along a few things to help tell their story.

They are so passionate! And it’s really cute to see how Andy let’s Elise be 100% who she is. 🙂 🙂

…….In addition, he’s got great taste in rings. 😉

Elise and Andy made the trip here this past weekend to have their engagements taken and I am honored to have spent that time getting to know them even better before their wedding day.

Their wedding will be a nice mix between Elise’s Jewish traditions and those of the American wedding. I am definitely looking forward to experiencing their day with them!

Andy has a very good sense of humor; he kept both Elise and I laughing. It’s really sweet to see them together and to see her smile so much when he’s around her.

These images are my personal favorite; I would definitely consider them a romantic pair…..

And since they’ve met, as you can see, their fear of flying has not hindered them from traveling the world.

According to Elise, they plan to continue making their way around the world and experiencing life. Together.

SO Sweet..

I think this one is magical! 🙂

This engagement shoot would not have been possible without the UNBELIEVABLE generosity of Bryn. Thank you SO much for allowing us to shoot in your hangar. I know how much this meant to Elise and Andy to be able to tell their story, and in turn, it meant a TON to me. So thank you on behalf of everyone!

And to top it off, after the session was over, Bryn gave us a personal tour of the larger hangar. 🙂

Elise and Andy,

Thank you for hiring me to capture your engagements. I am very much looking forward to your bridals, Elise (especially with that GORGEOUS gown), and most of all, I can’t wait for the wedding!!

You and Andy’s path is like a story book. And I’m so happy to be a part of it.
