Royal Villa Wedding: Natalie + Nick

“To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.”

Nick heard the expression on his wedding day, from his wife Natalie. One of my favorite moments was when he read the letter she wrote.

She wrote it with love; after eight years of dating, it was their wedding day and she wanted Nick to know how much he meant to her. The day may not have been exactly what Natalie had anticipated, but despite the fact that she wasn’t feeling her usual 100% healthy self, the wedding was perfect.

Because everything disappears when Natalie sees him. She said it herself….all her nerves go away and they just see each other.

Natalie and I spent quite a bit of time on the phone talking about Etsy. And she spent quite a bit of time online searching Etsy…for the perfect details. Including her BEAUTIFUL garter and so many other details which complimented the day.

The wedding took place at the Royal Villa and the Christmas decor made the venue seem absolutely perfect within. The glittery-gold Christmas leaf made for the perfect spot to photograph their rings…

Natalie spent the time just before her wedding in the bridal suite visiting with her bridesmaids and preparing to walk down the aisle.

I know her mom especially enjoyed these few minutes with her…

P.S. Potter’s Salon, you guys did a wonderful job with her hair!

I was also able to spend a few moments with Nick and his groomsmen just before the start of the ceremony.

And as everyone came into the venue, I was able to grab a few of my favorite shots…

These are Natalie’s twin brothers. And I was convinced that if that positioned themselves just so it would look like they were looking in the mirror…..Well, at least we tried. 🙂 🙂 🙂

L.O.V.E.

Just before the ceremony start, Tiffany gave Nick this note from Natalie. It was really neat to be there to see this unfold.

And there she was….As she walked in the room,

Nick glanced over his shoulder toward the bridal party with this ADORABLE smile on his face. 🙂

And they lit their unity candle, promising forever to one another.

After the ceremony ended, Natalie and Nick spent some time together outdoors…..in the FREEZING COLD!!!! I think the veil actually froze in this position.

Beautiful!

Natalie said her favorite part of the ceremony was this time: Their First Dance. 🙂 She loved that they were able to spend some time with just each other, laughing, and loving each other as husband and wife.

And following their dance, Natalie and Nick danced with their mothers.

Natalie and her mom danced to the new Carrie Underwood song “Mama’s Song”…..I cried.

I always love the money dance because it’s really the first time of the night where the guests can interact with the bride and groom.

The bottom image in the set below, I LOVE. It really shows that Natalie and Nick are not just in love but that they’re best friends too.

And the reception…was nothing short of a party!

When I saw this GINORMOUS Christmas tree, I realized why Natalie wanted to take a picture in front of it…It’s GORGEOUS….And so are they!

First off:  I hope you are both feeling well again!!! Since the beginning of working with you two, I have felt so fortunate. Not only fortunate to have had a couple so trusting and kind but to have been there to capture you two together. You both love and care for one another with a deepness and sincerity to be admired. And it is…by me. I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peak of your wedding and I hope you’re enjoying these first few weeks of married life.
