When I think of Haylie, I think of laughter and smiles. She’s always giggling and I absolutely love to be around her. Not only to shoot one but TWO Lewis Sisters weddings took place this summer and Amelia + I were fortunate enough to be there to photograph them both. Tt the end of the night on Friday, when Haylie + Eric exited, I felt a tinge of sadness. I was happy, of course for Haylie and for she and Eric’s life together;Β I was only sad because I knew the wedding was over.
After Addie’s wedding, I knew that could still look forward to Haylie’s. Now, I suppose we’ll have to schedule lunches and dinners on our own. Being a part of such a special time in these girls’ lives is something that I feel so blessed to have been a part of and I will treasure forever. I couldn’t be more thankful to have these new friendships for a lifetime.
Haylie’s bridal were shot at Vermillionville in Lafayette and although I’ve been known to walk away with some war wounds in the past….this bridal session sent me to the hospital! lol…Apparantely, I am allergic to wasps. π
While helping Haylie move to a new location, I felt the sting and YOWWWW it hurt. DeEtte took the sting out with chewing tobacco and I was good to go for the rest of the shoot. It wasn’t until that night, when I realized the swelling had moved from my finger, into my hand…and into my arm.
But I will say that the shoot was perfect and I would have taken the sting again for her.
We missed Brynn and Anson at the shoot… I LOVE LOVE LOVE this crew. π
π I love you two, ladies….:)
Congratulations Haylie! Your wedding post is coming soon….
