When I first met Ellen, it was in our freshmen college English class at UL. We all sat around a table discussing classic novels, poems, and each other. It was a higher level English, so there were less people and it really allowed us the chance to get to know the others in class. We read each others writing and at the end of the year, even became the subjects.
It gave me the chance to meet Ellen!
Later, Ellen and I both found ourselves in Design 102, a class created for all majors in the School of Architecture and Design including Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Industrial Design. Ellen and I formed a friendship immediately and found solice in the fact that we were both well…indecisive.
We both love design and all things that are creative yet found ourselves struggling with what aspect or category of creativity we wanted to place ourselves in. In the end, I finished architecture and became a wedding photographer and Ellen stuck it out in interior design.
I have had so much fun getting the chance to spend time with Ellen, especially in a such a special time of her life. I’ve always enjoyed her company and have had so much fun working with her!
If you haven’t had the chance to check out Ellen’s Vintage Session where she wore her mother’s bridal gown, you should stop for a minute to check it out as well. Wes came along for that session as well so we have a few of them together!

Thank you Ellen for being such a wonderful client and friend as well! 🙂
