If you could sum up your wedding in three words, what would they be?
Classic, Timeless, Festive
Tell us about your wedding venue(s) and why you chose to get married there.
The Opera House is extremely special to us. Years ago, the first floor was a store owned by my grandmother (who Alex and I are both very close to). I spent plenty of days there attempting to help with the store. She and my grandfather have a love for history and historical buildings, so ultimately they decided to restore the upstairs of the Opera House and create a reception hall downstairs. My aunt is the manager of the building, but my grandparents are both still active parts as well.
What was your favorite wedding detail?
There’s so many to choose from! Our wedding was filled with family heirlooms from grandparents, great grandparents, and great great grandparents. Those heirlooms are our favorite details.
What is your favorite wedding memory from the day?
Exchanging our vows
How did you incorporate your personalities into your wedding celebration?
We, as well as our friend groups, all love to dance so we wanted to make sure we loved our band!
What is your wedding song?
“The Way You Look Tonight” – Frank Sinatra
