Day 3 of 3.
The three days of blogging my “Year in Review” posts, has been fun to say the least. I’ve had the chance to look back…and in the process, to look ahead. I talked to a friend of mine yesterday…and I admitted that I have difficutly accepting change. Or rather, I have difficulty letting go of things that I love or enjoy! I have truly enjoyed working with each of these couples this year. Having the opportunity to work so closely with someone during such vulnerable moments, some happy and surprisingly some sad as well…allows me to very quickly feel as if I’ve known these couples forever.
And so, yes…letting go of 2011 is a bummer. However, these three days have been really great for allowing me to reflect and look ahead for a whole new and wonderful year. I can only imagine what 2012 has to bring.
Amelia and I laugh because in addition to blaring the radio and singing at the top of our lungs after every wedding day on the ride home, we also talk about the things we’ve learned that day. Yes, it may sound super cheezy but we realize that every day is an opportunity to learn and to grow as photographers and as people. Let’s just be honest, wedding days are intense…but we enjoy every moment and love being a part of the atmosphere.
So…with all of that being said, I want to give one last and final THANK YOU to the amazing couples that we’ve worked with this year. 2011 wouldn’t have been 2011 without you. 🙂
