Christy and Thomas are nothing short of unique. And I don’t mean just in the fact that they’re creative, having both experienced and survived design school in the Black Hole we refer to as Fletcher Hall. I mean that they are unique…together.
Somehow, their individual uniqueness makes them even more special as a couple. He listens to her, and after three years, he still hangs onto every word she says. He waits for her, and he makes her laugh.
A few months ago he spent some time drawing stick figures in the kitchen with his little brother while Christy hung in the living room with his family watching Project Runway. When they came in to show her the drawings, they displayed for her different combinations of family members drawn in stick form…and the last page was a stick drawing of Christy + Thomas.
And in writing just below them it read, “Christy, will you marry me?”
Since that day, they have been planning their wedding….
….and their engagement session.
I was very much looking forward to their engagements. I love being around couples in love.
Christy and Thomas did a wonderful job choosing outfits that revolved around a strong concept.
And the weather was just perfect! Ok…maybe A little…..A LOT cold…but beautiful out.
And they made the decision to enjoy their engagement session…with champagne.
They are such a sweet couple; and so kind to each other.
:) :) :) :)
Christy and Thomas also like to spend their time on “Pint and Picture” night eating ice cream and watching movies. I thought it would be interesting to photograph as if I was looking at them through the TV on their date nights.
Thomas and Christy,
I really enjoyed your session!!!! I love the creativity and openness with which you allowed me to approach your session. :) It’s so much fun to work with fellow designers, and I can only imagine what will come of your ability to plan when the wedding day rolls around!!!! It’s gonna be C.R.A.Z.Y.
