Was this the dress you originally thought you’d wear for your wedding?
Yes. I was looking for something lace and simple. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It was the 3rd dress I tried on.ope! I thought I would wear something a little more tight fitting, and also with sleeves!
Tell us about your dress! Why did you choose this look?
We are having a beach wedding, so wanted something very easy and simple. Preferably a slip dress. I didn’t want any “bling”. The whole dress is light ivory vintage lace with a satin slip underneath.
How do you feel when you put on your dress?!
I felt like a million bucks today in my dress! I was very comfortable and relaxed in it. Looking forward to wearing it on my wedding day! You should feel like a bride in your dress. Mission accomplished.
Why did you choose this particular bridal session location?
I wanted something outdoors that had sort of a country or rustic feel. The old cottages, church, schoolhouse, etc of Acadian Village provided just the look I was going for.
Any advice for future brides embarking on this wedding journey?
Enjoy the process! DOn’t treat it as a business deal. Don’t sweat the little things. Relax and smile. 🙂 You’re marrying your best friend and that’s all that matters at the end of the day.
