This month, we created conversation. Thanks to Jason Cohen and Jamie Orillion once a month, professionals, part-timers, and hobbyists get together at Starbucks to talk photography. It’s called the Camera Club.
Everyday, I wake up excited to shoot, excited to edit, and excited to read and talk about photography, but there are times that running a business can become stressful and overwhelming. So, I love to attend workshops/events/gatherings to remain inspired, to learn, to share, and to meet others just like me. 🙂
Everyone who attends these gatherings are passionate about photography, and it’s SO much fun to be around this energy! Last week, we met and talked about everything from equipment, lens-use based on the scenario, lighting, emotion, and framing.
It’s SO interesting to hear different people’s opinions…and when you’re talking about art, most people will have differing thoughts which makes for nice conversation. I was able to meet Jason Sonnier and Ooti Billeaud, both really nice guys!
There’s such an interesting dynamic amongst the people attending; and although there’s diversity, people respect the differences and accept other’s thoughts. I’ve been SOO impressed with the openness and welcoming nature of the group.
Not all of the conversations are SUPER intense, but as you can tell everyone is genuinely interested in being there and interested in discussing what we love.
Above, Hannah Herpin and I took a break from admiring the video work of John Melancon. If you or someone you know is interested in attending a camera club gathering, you can email Jason at jason@jasoncohenphoto.com
Have a great day!!

Good!!! You should come; and you’ll have the chance to maybe sell some of the equipment that hasn’t sold yet next month. 🙂 See you in the morning.
Effectively written write-up. That you are a really persuasive writer. I can see this within your article.
You completed numerous good points there. I did a search on the problem and located almost all people will have the same opinion along with your blog.
Its far better in the event you take into consideration what others might have to say instead of just going for a gut reaction towards the topic. Consider adjusting your own believed process and giving others who could read this the benefit of the doubt.
Great beat ! I would like to apprentice while you amend your site, how could i subscribe for a blog site? The account helped me a applicable deal. I have been a little bit acquainted of this your broadcast provided vivid transparent idea
